The Children's Online Privacy Protection Act

The primary goal of the Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA) Rule is to give parents control over what information is collected from their children online and how such information may be used.

The credit union does not knowingly accept information from children under the age of thirteen (13).

Details for both Smile Patrol and Blue Crew are available here.

As a Kids Club member, your child will be eligible to receive tickets that can be used to purchase gift cards from a variety of stores such as Target, Subway, Walmart, and Half Price Books (to name a few).

Thrive by FiveTM:
Teaching Your Preschooler About Spending and Saving

Children learn about money from many sources.  As a parent, you will not be the only influence on what your child learns about using money. But when you teach basic lessons about money, you increase the chance that your child?s values will be similar to yours.

Thrive by Five  provides simple activities and other resources, which are parent-and-child tested, meant to give you ideas for:

  • Teaching how money works and what it can do,
  • Talking about how your family uses money, and
  • Modeling good money management.

Thrive by Five  was made possible by a grant from the National Credit Union Foundation, with additional funds from the Ohio Credit Union Foundation and the Texas Credit Union Foundation.
